Join the Young Professionals Committee for a tour of the largest wastewater treatment plant within New Jersey American Water’s Statewide Sewer Operation, Environmental Disposal Corporation (EDC) system in Somerset County. Originally constructed in early 1980's, the plant went through two expansions and now has a design capacity of 2.1 MGD, with an average flow of 1.4 MGD. The EDC collection system is comprised of approximately 56 miles of collection mains, 1,186 manholes, and 9 lift stations. This system provides wastewater collection and treatment for 5,404 customers. In addition, the wastewater treatment plant provides bulk-wastewater treatment for three municipalities (Bedminster, Far Hills and Peapack-Gladstone). These municipalities are equivalent to approximately 5,000 customers.

Networking happy hour will be held after the tour at Delicious Heights in Bedminster.
