Student Poster Competition
For 2009 National Drinking Water Week
The AWWA NJ Student Affairs Committee recently sponsored their fourth annual National Drinking Water Week poster competition for students in kindergarten through 5th grade. The theme of this year’s poster competition was “Only Tap Water Delivers."
Thank you to all the students and AWWA NJ members that participated in this year’s student poster competition.
Each winning student in their grade category received $100 and a framed copy of their winning poster.
In addition, Mrs. Marge Selfridge’s 1st grade class from Tuckerton Elementary School was the winner of the overall classroom participation prize. Mrs. Selfridge’s class received a pizza party and a classroom presentation on drinking water from AWWA NJ.
