Financial Advisory Committee: reviews Section financial procedures
Infrastructure Management Committee: keeps up to date on issues related to infrastructure and asset management; coordinates presentations or seminars for the Section on related topics.
Manufacturer's & Associates Committee: coordinates exhibits at Annual Conference
Membership Services Committee: engages new and existing members; promotes membership in AWWA
Publications Committee: prepares “Pipeline” newsletter and assists with review of Section Website
Public Information Committee: oversees water taste test contest and Section outreach efforts; coordinates social media efforts for the Section
Research and Technology Transfer Committee: helps arrange papers for Annual Conference
Recognition Committee: assists other committees with soliciting nominations for awards; coordinates ordering awards
Registration Committee: manages registrations at the Fall Meeting and Annual Conference
Retired Professionals Committee: organizes the efforts of seasoned professionals in the Section; coordinates the annual ‘Living History’ project.
Safety & Security Committee: Coordinates presentations for the Annual Conference, conducts training seminars throughout the year and keeps the section current on topics related to safety and security.
Strategic Planning Committee: reviews Section Strategic Plan and works with Board of Trustees to update the plan as needed
Student Affairs Committee: oversees student scholarship application process, plans student-related activities throughout the year; coordinates with student chapters
Technical Program Committee: solicits, reviews, and selects presentations for the Fall Meeting and Annual Conference. Coordinates technical sessions at Annual Conference
Licensed Operator Committee: encourages participation by operators and small systems, administers operator scholarship program; coordinates Operators Bowl Competition at Annual Conference.
Water for People Committee: Plans fundraising events to support Water for People
Water Utility Council: stays abreast of legislative and regulatory issues; educates section members as needed on these issues
Young Professionals Committee: plans events and encourages engagement of young water professionals
