Call for Papers: AWWA NJ 2018 Annual Conference

The AWWA NJ Technical Program Committee is seeking abstracts for presentations with practical, real world project examples and forward-thinking ideas to train our members to be prepared to lead the water industry well into the future. Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:

- Water Quality
- Surface Water Treatment
- Groundwater Treatment
- Asset Management
- Sustainability, Resiliency and Climate Change
- Energy Management and Controls
The program will be aimed to meet the needs of all demographics of our Section who play a role in defining our industry including, but not limited to, operators, engineers, manufacturers, regulators, public relations, scientists and students. Papers should focus on being inclusive and collaborative.
In order to maintain the high quality of our program, the following policies should be followed:
- A person can give only one presentation during the conference.
- An abstract submission is a firm commitment to attend and present at the conference.
- Please refrain from overt or extensive commercialism during your presentation.
The Fresh Ideas competition was designed to encourage younger members of the organization (age 35 and under by March 20, 2018) to actively participate through the presentation of papers at the Conference. Fresh Ideas presenters will be judged and one will be selected as given the best presentation of the group and will be awarded a prize.
