This four (4) hour program combines classroom presentations with demonstrations and an interactive workshop to keep employees safe before and during confined space work. This program explores the difference between Permit required and Non-Permit Required Confined Spaces, reviews hazards associated with permitted spaces and focuses on the decision logic used for permitted entries.  Engineering controls such air monitoring, ventilation, and isolation techniques will be discussed. In addition, rescue plans and services are part of the workshop along with demonstrations of gas meters, ventilation equipment, and mechanical retrieval devices.

Target Audience:  Lead Employees, Supervisors,  Managers who work in or are part of the decision making process for confined space entry.
